What is a PayPal Subscription (Automatic Payment)

A PayPal Subscription (also called Automatic Payment or Billing Agreement) is a pre-authorized agreement in your PayPal account that pays your Ucartz renewal invoices automatically on their schedule. Ucartz does not pull funds manually; PayPal sends the payment based on your authorization.

How it works at Ucartz

  1. Open your invoice in the Ucartz client portal and choose PayPal as the payment method.

  2. In PayPal, choose Subscribe / Automatic Payment to create a subscription (ID starts with B-).

  3. PayPal confirms by email.

  4. Future invoices for that service are paid automatically by PayPal.

How to identify a subscription payment (in PayPal)

  1. Log in to PayPal → Settings → Payments → Manage Automatic Payments.

  2. Select “Ucartz Online Pvt Ltd.”

  3. Check Status (Active/Inactive), the Subscription ID (B-…), last payment, and next scheduled payment.

    Or: PayPal → Activity → open the payment → Transaction type shows “Automatic Payment” or “Subscription Payment.” If not visible, look for “Billing Agreement” or “Related transactions.”

How to identify a subscription payment (in Ucartz portal)

  1. Log in → Billing → My Invoices.

  2. Open the paid invoice.

  3. Verify Payment Method is PayPal and note the PayPal Transaction ID.

  4. You can match that Transaction ID with the payment shown in your PayPal Activity.

 

How to track a subscription payment

Using PayPal: Manage Automatic Payments → select Ucartz → view last payment and next schedule → open linked payment for details.

Using Ucartz: Open the invoice in My Invoices → confirm it shows Paid → match the Transaction ID with the one in PayPal.

Note: Allow 15–30 minutes for PayPal to notify our portal.

 

How to cancel a PayPal subscription

Cancelling stops future automatic payments. It does not cancel your Ucartz service.

  1. Log in to PayPal → Settings → Payments → Manage Automatic Payments.

  2. Select “Ucartz Online Pvt Ltd.”

  3. Click Cancel (Cancel Automatic Payments) and confirm.

    After cancellation, you must pay future invoices manually in the Ucartz client portal.

 

Common scenarios and fixes

  1. Payment completed in PayPal but invoice still unpaid:
    Wait 15–30 minutes, then refresh the invoice.
    If it still shows unpaid, please open a billing ticket using the link below and include your invoice number, PayPal Transaction ID, and the PayPal email used. Submit Billing Ticket
  2. Duplicate subscriptions:
    Open PayPal → Manage Automatic Payments, cancel the older or duplicate one, and keep only one active.
  3. Subscription paid after service was cancelled:
    Open a billing ticket and provide the Transaction ID and service details for review. Submit Billing Ticket
  4. Plan or amount changed but old subscription still charged:
    Cancel the old subscription in PayPal, then create a new one when paying your next invoice.

  1. Does Ucartz charge my PayPal directly?

    No. Ucartz never charges your PayPal account manually.If you have created a PayPal Subscription, then PayPal will automatically send the payment to Ucartz based on your subscription authorization.Without an active PayPal subscription, payments must be made manually through the Ucartz client portal.

  2. How can I confirm auto-payment is active?
    Log in to PayPal → Settings → Payments → Manage Automatic Payments → “Ucartz Online Pvt Ltd” should show Active.

  3. Can I have multiple subscriptions with Ucartz?
    Yes, but it’s not recommended. Keep one active subscription per service.

  4. What happens after I cancel my subscription?
