It is used to create a memorable address for a website, a subdomain (for example, yoursub-domain.yourdomain.com) can be used to do the same for a specific section of a website. Subdomains are not the same as addon domains or parked domains.
1) Log into your cPanel account.
2) Scroll down to Domains and click the Zone Editor link.
3) Click +A Record.
4) Now, enter your desired subdomain in the Name text box and the IP address you wish the subdomain to point to.
5) Click on "Add an A Record" button and save your settings.
