How to get EPP code from GoDaddy?

To move a domain from GoDaddy to another registrar, such as Ucartz, you need its authorisation (EPP) code. GoDaddy changes its menus from time to time, but the steps are usually:

At GoDaddy

1. Log in and open Domain Portfolio (My Products › Domains).
2. Open the domain's settings.
3. Turn off Domain Lock (sometimes shown as Transfer Lock).
4. Under Transfer
5. choose Transfer to another registrar and follow the steps to get the authorisation code. GoDaddy shows it or emails it to the domain's contact address.

Then

• Order the domain transfer at Ucartz and enter the code at checkout.
• Approve the transfer email that arrives at the domain's contact address.
• Transfers of .com and similar domains usually complete within 5 to 7 days, and usually add a year to the registration.

Note: A domain cannot be transferred within 60 days of registration or of a previous transfer, and it must not be expired. Make sure the contact email at GoDaddy is correct before you start.
