A blacklist in cPanel's spam filter marks every message from certain senders as spam, even if the spam score is low.

Steps

  1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  2. Open Email › Spam Filters.
  3. Make sure Process New Emails and Mark them as Spam is on.
  4. Click Show Additional Configurations under Additional Configurations (For Advanced Users).
  5. Click Edit Spam Blacklist Settings, then Add A New "blacklist_from" Item.
  6. Enter the address, or use wildcards such as *@spammer.example for a whole domain, and click Update Blacklist (blacklist_from).

Blacklisted mail is handled like other spam: marked, moved to the spam folder or auto-deleted, depending on your settings. To reject a sender outright, use a filter in Email › Global Email Filters with Fail With Message.
