WHM has built-in pages that show whether services are running and how busy the server is.
Service status
Open Server Status › Service Status. It lists each service (Apache, MySQL, Exim, Dovecot and so on) as up or down, plus the server load, memory and disk use.
Server details
Server Status › Server Information shows the processor, memory, disk and operating system.
Busy accounts and web traffic
- Server Status › Daily Process Log: which accounts used the most CPU and memory today.
- Server Status › Apache Status: the web requests being served right now.
Get alerts
In Service Configuration › Service Manager, tick Monitor for important services so cPanel restarts them if they stop. Set the address for alerts in Server Contacts › Contact Manager.
