With cPanel hosting you can create email addresses on your own domain, such as info@example.com or sales@example.com.

Create the account

  1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  2. Open Email › Email Accounts and click + Create.
  3. Choose the Domain and type the Username (the part before @).
  4. Choose Set password now and enter a strong password, or click Generate. (You can also send a link so the user sets their own password.)
  5. Under Storage Space, set a limit in MB or choose Unlimited. Unlimited mailboxes still count towards your hosting plan's disk space.
  6. Click Create.

Use the new mailbox

  • In a browser: click Check Email next to the account, or go to https://yourdomain.com/webmail.
  • In Outlook, Thunderbird, or on a phone: click Connect Devices next to the account. It lists the incoming and outgoing server names and ports, and can create automatic setup files.

Tip: Use IMAP (port 993) rather than POP3 if you read mail on more than one device, so all devices see the same folders.
