PHP uses its time zone for dates and times in your website, such as order times or post dates. If they are off by a few hours, set PHP's date.timezone to your local time zone.
With MultiPHP INI Editor
- Log in to cPanel (for example at
https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area). - Open Software › MultiPHP INI Editor and choose the Editor Mode tab.
- Choose the domain.
- Add or change the line, using a name from the PHP time zone list:
date.timezone = "Asia/Kolkata"
- Click Save.
On CloudLinux servers
Open Software › Select PHP Version, go to Options and set date.timezone.
Check the result with a file containing <?php echo date_default_timezone_get();, and delete it afterwards.
Note: Many applications have their own time zone setting (for example Settings › General in WordPress), which takes priority.
