Updated: 28 September 2026 · Applies to: JetBackup in cPanel & WHM 138 (Jupiter theme)

Our shared hosting servers keep platform backups with a limited retention period. You can restore from them yourself with JetBackup in cPanel.

Restore

  1. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  2. Open JetBackup (search for it in cPanel).
  3. Choose Full Account Backups to restore everything, or the section for only files, databases or email.
  4. Pick the backup by date, then click Restore (or Download to get a copy). For files, you can select single files or folders.
  5. Wait for the job to finish; JetBackup shows its progress. Large accounts can take a while.

Note: Restoring overwrites the current files or database with the backup copy. Platform backups are not guaranteed, so always keep your own copies as well (see our Terms of Service, section 5). If you need help, our engineers can do the restore as a paid task.
