Google Search Console can verify that you own a domain with a TXT record in its DNS. Verifying the whole domain covers all its subdomains and both http and https.

Steps

  1. In Google Search Console, add a Domain property and copy the TXT value Google shows (it starts with google-site-verification=).
  2. Log in to cPanel (for example at https://yourdomain.com:2083, or from the Ucartz client area).
  3. Open Domains › Zone Editor and click Manage next to the domain.
  4. Click the arrow next to + Add Record and choose the TXT record type.
  5. In Name, enter your domain followed by a dot (for example example.com.). Set Type to TXT if needed, and paste Google's value into Record.
  6. Click Save Record.
  7. Wait a few minutes, then click Verify in Search Console.

Note: If verification fails, wait up to a few hours and try again. The record only works if your domain uses this server's nameservers; if your DNS is elsewhere (for example Cloudflare), add the record there. Keep the record afterwards, because Google checks it again.
