I have a lot of processes like: [migration/xxxx] running on my system

Migration processes are kernel level threads running on the system, one per LVE.

They don't take up much memory (about 4k each), or CPU resources. Their purpose is to better distribute the load on multi-core servers. Yet, even if you have a system with just one CPU - you will still see at least one such process per each LVE.

Those processes can be safely ignored.
