When I'm trying to update my centos, it's not a vm, i have this error message:

installing package kernel-3.10.0-862.6.3.el7.x86_64 needs 10MB on the /boot filesystem
It happens on a system, where /boot is on its own, typically with small partition. After a number of kernel updates, the partition itself actually starts to run out of space.

Fix:

To delete older kernel versions which can take up 100s of MBs of space. Then just rerun the grub menu config utility to recognize the kernel versions still existing.

Now, rerun your update.

That's it !!
